Penguin Christmas Card

Surprise, surprise, I have been thinking about ideas for Christmas cards for quite a while now and I actually started in October but haven't finished those. I decided this year I will go back to my "old style" and make cards that are not as involved as the Magnolia cards I did last year. I wasn't able to make as many handmade cards as I would have wanted. I still will make a few Magnolia's and some with Papilio images. Today I made a card for one of the ladies at work who likes Penguins. I found a cute one at Michael's. I knew which DP I would use and decided to make some "mountains" using various MS glitter. The largest glitter is MS crystal coarse glitter, then crystal fine and the "mogul" in the front is carrara marble. I also added a little bit of blue topaz glitter. I colored the Penguin with Copic's and added glitter to the bow on his trunks and his popsicle. I think somebody was messing with my MS glue pen(it must have been the little critters Dominique and Madison...hehehe). It comes out pink, that's why he has a pink popsicle. I added a clear snowflake sticker from Deja Views, popped a white snowflake from my stach on top and added a clear jewel. I punched out another snowflake from the DP, which is Li'l Davis Designs, left over from last year and the sentiment is from the PTI set Sign Language.
I hope Suzanne will like her Penguin Christmas card.

Thank you all for stopping by and I promise I will have more Christmas cards to show you.
